Evaluation of Air Purifier's Harmful Gas Removal Performance Using ACE 1100 IMR-MS

Summary

l   Using the ACE 1100 IMR-MS, the harmful gas removal performance of air purifiers was evaluated in accordance with the Korean standard SPS-KACA002-132:2021 and the U.S. standard AHAM-AC-4:2022 procedures.

l   The evaluation was conducted using five VOCs specified in the U.S. standard: Toluene, Ammonia, Formaldehyde, Heptane, and Limonene.

l   To assess the air purifier’s performance, the following metrics were analyzed:

•     - Reduction rate (%) of harmful gases
•     - Trend of reduction (R²)
•     - Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR, m³/min)
