  • Young In ACE Provides ACE 1100 IMR-MS Technical Training for Chinese Distributor Engineers

Korean mass spectrometry company Young In ACE recently conducted ACE 1100 IMR-MS technical training for engineers from its Chinese distributor. The training was held at the Young In ACE headquarters and was designed to enhance the engineers’ understanding of the mass spectrometry system and strengthen their technical support capabilities for customers in the Chinese market.


Chinese Distributor: Kailai (Shanghai) Science Technology


Engineers from Kailai (Shanghai) Science Technology Co., Ltd., Young In ACE’s distributor in China, participated in the training.

The company, formerly known as Claind Shanghai Science Technique Ltd., recently changed its name and serves as an official partner responsible for technical support and market expansion of Young In ACE mass spectrometry systems in China.

Young In ACE continuously operates technical training programs for overseas distributor engineers to ensure stable equipment operation and reliable technical support in global markets.

 

 

 

ACE 1100 IMR-MS Technical Training Program

 

The training program included theoretical sessions on the analytical principles and system structure of the ACE 1100 IMR-MS, as well as hands-on training using the actual instrument for operation and maintenance.
To improve real-world applicability, the program also included practical training on:

  • Operation of the IMR-MS system

  • Interpretation of VOC and gas analysis data

  • Instrument maintenance and inspection procedures

  • Operational precautions and system management


Through this training, engineers gained the knowledge required to provide stable instrument operation and technical support in the Chinese market.


ACE 1100 IMR-MS



The ACE 1100 IMR-MS is a mass spectrometry system based on Ion-Molecule Reaction (IMR) technology.
It enables real-time analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and various gases and offers several key advantages:

  • Direct analysis without sample pretreatment

  • Real-time VOC and hazardous gas analysis

  • Stable qualitative and quantitative analysis at low concentration levels

  • Applicable to environmental monitoring, industrial safety, and semiconductor process control

Thanks to these features, IMR-MS technology is widely used in environmental monitoring, industrial process control, and hazardous gas analysis.

In addition, the ACE 1100 IMR-MS, which utilizes ion-molecule reaction mass spectrometry technology, has been referenced in the revised Air Purifier Association standard “Indoor Air Cleaner (SPS-C_KACA002-0132)” updated in November 2025

In this standard, SIFT-MS is mentioned as a testing method, and ion-molecule reaction-based mass spectrometry is presented as a suitable analytical approach for low-concentration gas measurements in the new testing environment.


Expanding IMR-MS Supply in the Chinese Market

Young In ACE is continuing to expand the supply of ACE 1100 IMR-MS systems in the Chinese market.
Major installation references include:

  • 2024 : Shanghai Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Shanghai CDC)

  • 2026 : CETS (China Electronics Hi-Tech Industry Service Co., Ltd.), Wuxi, Jiangsu Province

Based on these references, the adoption of Korean-developed mass spectrometry systems is gradually expanding across China.


Expanding Global Mass Spectrometry Collaboration
